Our vision and ethos
ABC Day Nursery (Melksham) Ltd is founded on a clear vision: to provide a safe, welcoming and stimulating early years environment where every child is valued as an individual and supported to develop confidence, curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
Our approach places children at the heart of everything we do. Practitioners build strong attachments with children and work closely with parents and carers to ensure continuity of care, open communication and a shared understanding of each child's needs, interests and next steps.
ABC's ethos is also rooted in partnership with the local community. We have built our reputation by offering reliable, high-quality childcare that meets the needs of families in Melksham and the surrounding area, while supporting children to make a confident transition into school and future learning.

Our Team
Your child's key person
Every child at ABC is assigned a key person: a named member of our team who gets to know your child properly, settles them in, tracks their development and is your main point of contact day to day. You will be told who your child's key person is before they start, and you can speak to them at any time.
Our rooms are staffed to meet or exceed the ratios set out in the EYFS statutory framework, and there is always a paediatric first aider on site.
